How much more does it cost to text a friend in france from my virgin mobile?

I have a phone on contract with virgin, I get free texts but my girlfriend is on holiday in france and I have texted her quite a lot. Does it cost more on top of my contract to text her if she has an english phone but is in france? If so, how much more? Any help is appreciated, thank you.
