Dropped my phone in water..works but not the screen..what can i do?

I dropped my phone in water, dried it out with the cool setting of the hair dryer then left it in rice..the keypad lights up and i can make calls but my screen doesn't work. How can I fix this? Should I put it back in the rice for longer?
